Electrical pre purchase inspections
An electrical inspection prior to the purchase of a property , can identify any potential dangerous situations , and check if the house is up to the latest electrical standards . Only released in 2018.
A building and pest inspection does NOT cover any of the electrical system, wiring, switch board etc. only a qualified electrician can inspect and certify the electrical installation.
For this reason an electrical inspection is as important as a building and pest.
possibly saving you money on a expensive repair , or better still preventing an electrical incident .
All inspections are carried out to the Australian standards AS/NZS 3019:2007 and 3000:2018V6.
At completion of test you will receive a test certificate as per Australian standards
A detailed list with photos of any issues found , with an approximate price to fix.
There are 3 types of Inspections .
Basic Visual inspection
as per Australian standards

Cables for any damage and deterioration
The earthing system for corrosion and poor connection.
Power points for damage and overheating.
lights for damage and overheating.
The switch board for correct size cabling and circuit breakers, exposed live cables, correctly labeled ,
check no access to live parts on appliances.
overhead lines show no deterioration.
safety distances have not been compromised.
